The service of the Sanctification of the Water for the official start of the School of Byzantine Music was conducted by Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain, at the Cathedral of the Dormition of the Theotokos in Wood Green.
In the crowded Cathedral of the Dormition of the Theotokos, Bishop Athanasios of Tropaeou, clergymen, several old and new students, friends and supporters of the School were present for the Agiasmos service.
