The Archbishop of Cyprus emphasized that God wishes all people, pious and impious, to become citizens of His heavenly kingdom, all of us to accept the grace of God so that with Ηim we will overcome all the difficulties of life, all the problems, and all the adversities of everyday life.

In addition, the Archbishop referred to the difficulties encountered by both himself and the honored Metropolitan in their journey as novices and monks. Difficulties, however, that gave them all they needed in the later course of their lives.

In his address, the President of the Republic of Cyprus emphasized the tireless service of the honored Metropolitan to the Church which is interconnected with both the social and the national duty.
