Eugene Pantzaridis, the new Deputy General Archieratic Commissioner

By decision of Archbishop Ieronymos II of Athens and All Greece, Archimandrite Eugene Pantzaridis was appointed Deputy General Archieratic Commissioner of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens.

He was also appointed Head of the Independent Information Technology, Digital Applications and Project Management Service, of legal entity under public law, of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens.

Archim. Eugenios Pantzaridis (born Lazaros) was born in Vertol, W. Germany in 1971.

He settled in the Monastery of Simonos Petra of Mount Athos in the years 1993 to 2004, where he was also a monk.

He graduated from the Accounting Department of the Department of Economics and Management of Delta School, in 1993.

He graduated from the Department of Theology of the National and Kapodistrian Univeristy of Athens in 2010.

He was ordained Deacon in 2010 by current Metropolitan Theodoritos of Laodicea and Presbyter in 2011 by Archbishop Ieronymos II of Athens and all Greece.

He was appointed Secretary of the Internet and Communications Division of the Personel Office of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens in 2011.

He was appointed Head of the Project Management Office of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens in 2015, where he assumed, as project leader, the oversight of the implementation of specialized large-scale Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) projects.
