Work resumes on Saint Nicholas at World Trade Center

Work has resumed on St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church at the World Trade Center, the New York Post reported on February 17, adding that the work “likely won’t be visible for another month.”

Michael Psaros, Vice Chairman of The Friends of St. Nicholas, told the Post that “the Minnesota company fabricating the exterior screen for the long-stalled project was paid $5.7 million and has resumed working on it.”

The Friends of St. Nicholas is trying to raise $42 million to complete the project.
