Lack of faith comes from pride. The proud claims to conquer everything through his mind and science, but the knowledge of God remains inaccessible to him because God is made known only by revealing through the Holy Spirit. The Lord is revealed to the humble souls. To them shows His works, which are incomprehensible to our minds. With our physical mind, we can only know partly the mundane while God and all the celestial things are revealed through the Holy Spirit.
