With the blessings of Metropolitan John of Zambia, Fr Philip and Fr Arsenios traveled to Chirundu district near Zimbabwe for missionary work.
The two priests taught the local people who have thirsty for Orthodoxy that they should know more and be baptized.
Patriarch Theodore of Alexandria and All Africa paid a visit at this area and put the foundation stone for the Missionary Center where a church, a priest’s house, a school and a clinic will be built for the help of the local Zambians.
