On Friday, September 13, the US Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt visited Metropolitan Anthimos of Alexandroupolis at the Diocese of Alexandroupolis.
The two men had about an hour of discussion on local and broader issues.
At the end of the discussion, Mr. Pyatt asked for and visited the adjacent monument for the Alexandroupolian Jews of the Holocaust at the Metropolitan Square.
