Visit of the Metropolitan of Volokolamsk to the Metropolis of Corinth

Yesterday morning, the Vicar to the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia, chairman of the Department of the External Church Relations and permanent member of the Holy Synod of the Patriarchate of Moscow, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, accompanied by Archpriest Igor Yakimchuk, DECR secretary for inter-Orthodox relations and Hieromonk Grigory Sokolov, translator and employee of the same department, met with Metropolitan Dionysios of Corinth.

The delegation, accompanied by Metropolitan Dionysios, visited the Archaeological Site of Ancient Corinth, and, of course, “Apostle Paul’s Podium”, as the purpose of the visit of the Metropolitan of Volokolamsk was to visit the places where Apostle Paul stepped and stayed for almost one and a half year.
