Metropolitan Amphilochios of Kissamos and Selino paid a one-day visit-pilgrimage to the Holy Monastery of Vatopedi.
The Metropolitan worshiped the miraculous icons of the Virgin Mary of the Monastery, celebrated a mass in the Catholicon and met with Elder Ephraim, to whom he wished complete restoration of his health after his recent painful trial, while they had the opportunity to discuss ecclesiastical issues.
He wished both Elder Ephraim and his Brotherhood to have a good Great Lent, fruitful spiritual struggles “and if God wills for all of us, to experience the eternal Easter.”
On the occasion of his visit, he expressed his gratitude to Elder Efraim, for the long-standing support of the Holy Monastery of Vatopedi in the welfare, philanthropic and social work of the Holy Metropolis.
