Use of face mask is obligatory in churches in Cyprus

The use of face mask for enclosed spaces in Cyprus became mandatory as of today, as part of the new measures against the COVID-19 announced earlier by the Minister of Health Konstantinos Ioannou.

Churches are included in the list of enclosed crowded spaces where the use of non-medical mask is required while the measure also concerns children from six years and over.

In fact, the fine for those who do not comply with this measure has been set at EUR 300.
