The Tomos of Autocephaly of the new Ukranian church, has become a political tool for the fight over power in the coming elections on March 31, said Yulia Tymoshenko.
The leader of All-Ukrainian Union “Fatherland” Party has already announced that she is willing to participate in the presidential election in Ukraine.
“I am really sorry the Tomos has become a political tool, and I wish to express my opposition to all that”, stated Tymoshenko in Ukrainian TV, on Monday evening.
Yulia Tymoshenko, once more, reminded the viewers that she has been always supporting the creation of an independent Ukrainian Church.
“This is not the time to deal with this matter, however, it is not necessary to divide Ukrainian people because of it”, Yulia Tymoshenko added.
