The Patriarchate of Antioch issued a statement, stating in particular: “With the blessing and direction of Patriarch John X, the first church in Sweden was purchased.
On this occasion, we extend our congratulations to our Antiochian Church and all our children in the Vicariate of Sweden and the Scandinavian countries.”
