The last Paraklesis service in the Church of our Lady of Tinos was held in reverence

The last Paraklesis service in Tinos was held in the courtyard of the temple, as is customary, by Protopresbyter Fr. Thomas Synodinos, while Metropolitan Dorotheos II of Syros and Tinos transferred the sacred icon in the courtyard.

Metropolitan Dorotheos referred to the history of the establishment of the Feast of the Dormition. Protopresbyter Thomas Synodinos referred to the Virgin Mary and her life. He then plead her to break the wind and the fire, to be a cocaptain on the ships that are traveling, to be help and comfort to the patients, to cover and protect our Homeland, and to give wisdom and peace to the hearts of the rulers to do the right thing for our nation and our people.

Metropolitan Dorotheos, in the end, thanked Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece and the Director of the Radio Station of the Church of Greece for the retransmission of the Holy Paraklesis service.

The Hellenic Coast Guard vessels OPV-090, PLS-609, PLS-219 paid homage.
