The “final farwell” to the Abbot of Molyvdoskepastou Monastery

The late abbot Archimandrite Theodore Diamantis was buried, with the participation of many clergy and people, at the Molybdoskepastou Monastery in Konitsa, next to the unforgettable Bishop Sevastianos, who changed his life.

The funeral service, in the courtyard of the Monastery, was attended by the representative of the Ecumenical Patriarch, Archimandrite Seraphim, Abbot of the Monastery of Saint Nikanoras of Zavorda in Grevena, and Metropolitans Seraphim of Kastoria, Cosmas of Aetolia, Athanasios of Siatista and Andreas of Konitsa.

The representative of the Ecumenical Patriarch, Father Seraphim, emphasized the offer of the abbot, through his ecclesiastical and monastic activity, as well as his pure morality in Orthodoxy.

In his funeral speech, the Metropolitan of Konitsa referred to his old acquaintance with the late Father Theodore, from their student years, emphasizing the virtues of his personality.
