Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew is expected to visit the United States this July, invited by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, to speak at a meeting on the natural environment.
According to information from the newspaper “National Herald”, the Patriarch answered positively to Pompeo’s invitation, while it is an opportunity to hold a pastoral visit to the Archdiocese of America.
It is recalled that Patriarch Bartholomew visited America ten years ago (October 2009).
