Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew is visiting Vatopedi Monastery on Mount Athos as part of his visit to the Garden of the Virgin Mary (Perivoli tis Panagias).
He was greeted by the Abbot of the Vatopedi Monastery, Elder Ephraim, and a number of monks.
The Primate of Orthodoxy made a pilgrimage at the Cincture of the Theotokos and proceeded to the Katholikon of the Monastery, where the doxology is celebrated now.
