The Ministry of External Affairs expresses its deep concern about the decision of the Central Election Commission of Albania, which consists of delegates of the Albanian Parties, to reject the candidacy of the President of Omonoia Himara Mr. Dionysios Fredi-Beleri, for the post of the Mayor in the forthcoming municipal elections.
“According to up to now information”, states the Ministry of External Affairs, “this decision has no legal ground”, stressing that “We closely follow developments, we keep alert and we are ready to support the delegates of the Greek minority there”.
