At the request of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, Bishop Symeon of Thespies and Protosyncellus of the Holy Archbishopric of Athens delivered in the Archbishopric Chapel of the Apostle Paul, the Office of the Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Throne to f. Ioannis Savvakis.
Father Savvakis is a clergyman of the Archdiocese of Athens.
Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece was present at the ceremony, congratulated the honoured cleric and gave him his paternal blessing.
