The new Archbishop of America, Elpidophoros, had a meeting with Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece, today, Friday.
The new Archbishop of America was received at the entrance of the Holy Archdiocese by the Protosyncellus, Bishop Symeon of Thespies, who welcomed him.
Then, Archbishop Elpidophoros was warmly welcomed by Archbishop Ieronymos, who congratulated him for his worthy election to the throne of the Holy Archdiocese of America.
The new Archbishop of America thanked Archbishop Ieronymos for his warm welcome, stressing that it is always a great pleasure for him to meet and talk with the Primate of the Church of Greece.
At the end of the meeting, the new Archbishop of America had a brief conversation with the protopresbyter Dikaios of the Skete of Kavsokalyvia, Archim. Georgios Alevras.
Elder Georgios gave to the new Archbishop an album about the Skete of Kavsokalyvia, as well as an original album about Greek-American relations.
