Archbishop Anastasios of Albania expresses his gratitude to both his acquaintances and unknown people, who once again supported him with their warm wishes and spontaneous love, after the successful angioplasty he underwent.
A statement issued by the Secretariat of the Archdiocese of Tirana and Durres expressed gratitude for the support and spontaneous love for the Archbishop, who is recovering.
In addition to the Albanian authorities and people, the Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to the Republic of Albania, S. Filippidou, and the Consul, M. Megalokonomou, also wished the Archbishop, as well as the head of the Prime Minister’s Diplomatic Office, E. Sourani.
Moreover, Archbishop Anastasios spoke on the phone with Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and the former Archbishop of America, Mr. Dimitrios.
The President of the Hellenic Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, also called the Archbishop of Tirana today, wishing him a speedy recovery and to quickly return to his important duties.
