On the feast day of Prophet Elijah (Elias), July 20, 2019, St. Elijah Church at Korça county, Albania, was swamped by believers.
Metropolitan Ioannis of Korça presided the Holy Service, assisted by the priests of the Metropolis.
In his sermon, Metropolitan Ioannis said, inter alia, that Prophet Elijah was so powerful and firm in his faith that every Christian should aspire to attain his spirit and strength.
