On the Third Sunday after Pentecost, on June 28, 2020, on the feast day of Saint Vitus Day, Bishop Irinej of Novi Sad and Backa officiated at the Holy Liturgy in the church of Saint Sava in Novi Sad with the concelebration of Bishop Isihije of Mohacs, the clergy and deacons of Novi Sad.
As Bishop Irinej noted “We celebrate Saint Vitus Day: it is not a defeat – it is a victory, it is not just a historical event – it is a spiritual feat.”
