Bishop Maximos of Melitene traveled to Marseilles, where he officiated at the Divine Liturgy and the Vespers of Pentecost in the Holy Temple of St Irenaeus, Bishop of Lugdunum in Gaul (now Lyon), concelebrated by Archimandrite Christopher Monzlas and Deacon Dimitrios Ploumis.
The parish celebrated for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic. The faithful, full of enthusiasm, came to the church and kept the distances provided by law, following all the rules set by the French Government.
