With religious devotion, Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria and All Africa, performed the Service of the Veneration of the Holy Cross at the Patriarchal Holy Monastery of Saint Savvas in Alexandria, assisted by Patriarch Theophylaktos of Tripoli, among a crowd of faithful.
“Today’s celebration of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross will bring us back to the godly Mountains of Zion to hear the great Queen Helen and the Patriarch of Jerusalem Macarius who raised the Holy Cross”, said the Alexandrian Primate, blessing the community of Alexandria.
“Let the Cross of the Lord be our boast; the blessing for the hurt people; let it be the one to give peace to the whole world”, concluded the Patriarch of Alexandria.
