Patriarch of Serbia celebrated at Holy Trinity Church in Belgrade, Serbia

Whit Monday, the Patron Saint-day of the Church of the Holy Trinity of the Representation of the Moscow Patriarchate in Belgrade, was celebrated with the solemn Patriarchal Liturgy.

Patriarch Irinej of Serbia officiated the Holy Liturgy with concelebration of Archpriest Vitaly Tarasyev, principal of the Church of Holy Trinity, and priests of the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovci: Protodean Branislav Borota from the Church of Saint Mark; Archpriest Nebojsa Topolic, principal of the Church of Holy Mother of God in Zemun; Presbyter Ivan Delic from the Diocese of Banat; Protodeacon Stevan Rapajic; Deacon Vladimir Rumeni.
Archpriest Vitaly Tarasyev expressed his sincere gratitude to the heir to the throne of the First Archbishop of Serbia Saint Sava, His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej, for having celebrated the Liturgy in the church of the Holy Trinity in the Tasmajdan park, Belgrade.

Archpriest Vitaly Tarasyev, on behalf of the Church Committee and all the members of the Russian Holy Trinity Church in Belgrade, with the blessing of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, offered Patriarch Irinej an icon of the Most Holy Mother of God of Decani.

The celebration of the Patron Saint-day of the Holy Trinity Church was attended by Minister of Technological Development and Innovation Nenad Popovic; Director of the Office for Cooperation with Churches and Religious Communities Dr. Mileta Radojevic; academician Dimitrije Stefanovic, representatives of the Embassy of the Russian Federation, as well as by people from the cultural and public life of the capital.
