Patriarch of Moscow honors Ivan Savvidis

Today, second day of the Easter, Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia officiated at the Cathedral of Virgin Mary at the Kremlin.

During the Divine Liturgy, there attended representatives of Russian Federation, the State Duma and a crowd of believers.

After the end of the Divine Liturgy, the Primate of the Russian Church honored the known businessman Ivan Savvidis.

Patriarch Kirill awarded Mr. Savvidis the medal of St. Sergius of Radonezh (a leading Russian monk in the fourteenth century who founded the Holy Trinity Monastery north of Moscow), for his 60th birthday and his immeasurable contribution to the Russian Church.
