Patriarch of Alexandria completes visit to Congo

On Friday, March 1, Patriarch Theodore of Alexandria and All Africa completed his visit to Congo.

On Tuesday, Theodore visited St. Nikolaos Temple at the Greek community of Kinshasa, where he celebrated a liturgy along with Metropolitans Nikolaos of Amathous, Meletius of Kananga and Nikiforos of Kinshasa.

The Patriarch expressed his joy for visiting Congo for the third time and then he attended the dinner hosted in his honor by the Greek community. On Wednesday, February 27, the Patriarch visited St. Marcus Parish, and the Informatics Department of the Orthodox University of Congo.

During the same afternoon, there took place a gathering of the priests of the Metropolis of Kinshasa.

On Friday at noon, March 1, the Patriarch of Alexandria departed for Ethiopia.
