An official visit to the Patriarchate of Antioch will be held by Patriarch Irinej of Serbia.
The Primate of the Serbian Church will visit Damascus on Sunday, June 1, where Patriarch John of Antioch will welcome him.
During his stay, the Patriarch of Serbia will have meetings with Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad, Lebanese President Michel Aoun and Middle East officials.
It is worth noting that the head of the Church of Serbia is well aware of the difficulties and painful circumstances facing the Church of Antioch in Syria, Lebanon and the Middle East.
