Albanian faithful thronged the Orthodox churches from one end of the country to the other on Palm Sunday.
Dozens of believers were congregated in the Cathedral in Tirana. The faithful congregated at the churches of the Metropolis of Elbsan, Apollonia and Fieri, Berat, Korca, and Gjirokastra where the Metropolitans officiated the Divine Liturgy. More precisely, Metropolitan Ignatios of Berat performed the Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral in Berat, Metropolitan Nikolla of Apollonia and Fieri in the Church of Saint George in Fieri, Metropolitan Andoni of Elbasan in the Church of Saint Nicholas in Elbasan, and Metropolitan Nathanael of Amantia and Bishop Asti of Byllis at the Resurrection Cathedral in Tirana.
