Metropolitans Vasileios of Arkadia and Iakovos of Buenos Aires from the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch traveled to the Simonopetra Monastery on Mount Athos.
The two Metropolitans performed the ordination of Deacon Seraphim El-Khoury in the presence of the Abbot of the monastery, Elder Elissaios. Deacon Seraphim El-Khoury was ordained presbyter.
Pilgrims from Lebanon also attended the ordination.
