With the blessing of Metropolitan Ioannis of Zambia, the Holy Metropolis of Zambia paid a missionary visit to Chirundu (Vlachakis Family region).
Catechesis was the purpose of the visit.
In a post on the Metropolis’ official Facebook account, it is pointed out, “The Orthodox Mission believes that whoever invests in these young people invests in the future, that person belongs to the future and the future belongs to him. Youth in Africa has a great thirst for learning and faith. African youth longs for the experiences of prayer and true relationship with God.
This is what the local Church of Zambia is trying to do.”
