Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Messinia was elected Director of the Department of Patristic Studies, History of Doctrines and Symbolics of the Faculty of Theology of the School of Theology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Following the announcement of the recruitment on May 2019 by the president of the Faculty of Theology, the report of the election committee was ratified on June 18, according to which the Professor Metropolitan Chrysostomos (Savvatos) of Messinia, was elected director of the Department.
The term of office is one year, from 1/9/2019 to 31/8/2020.
