Metropolitan Theodosius of Kananga visited the Chisoui parish of Kasai-Central in order to meet the faithful and celebrate a Divine Liturgy.
At least five hundred people gathered in the “Temple” made of grass to worship God. It is noted that no priest had been in the area to celebrate a Divine Liturgy since 2013.
The Metropolitan promised them that from now on he would send a priest to officiate, take their confessions and baptize the catechists, every second month and on Great Feasts.
He called them to join all their prayers so that God may send a devout man to build them a church to attend.
Metropolitan of Kananga also spoke about Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria and All Africa, conveying to all his Patriarchal wishes.
