Αt the Holy Monastery of Vatopedi, Metropolitan Ioustinos of Kalamaria received a warm welcome by the Primate of the Holy Monastery Elder Ephraim and the respective fraternity.
Metropolitan of Kalamaria was invited by Elder Ephraim to officiate the Holy Service for the celebration of the Veneration of Virgin Mary.
In his speech, Ephraim thanked the Metropolitan for accepting his invitation to precide during the Holy Service, emphasizing that “We are glad to have you with us, but the most important is that you have come to Mount Athos with respect”.
Form his point, Metropolitan of Kalamaria thanked Primate Ephraim for the heartiest welcome and added the following: “I am no stranger to you and your large fraternity. I am a brother, a friend and supporter of the Holy Monastery of Vatopedi and your remarkable spiritual work”.
In concluding, Ioustinos referred to the philanthropic work of the Monastery and remarked that: “You personally, Elder Ephraim, and the Holy Monastery is a font of mercy for Orthodoxy in its entity”.
