On Saturday, June 8, 2019, the President of the Moscow Patriarchate’s External Relations Department, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, visited Cyprus.
During his visit, Metropolitan of Volokolamsk visited the Archdiocese of Cyprus.
Archbishop Chrysostomos welcomed him to Cyprus, while Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, from his part, conveyed to the Primate of the Church of Cyprus the warmest wishes of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.
The Archbishop of Cyprus and Metropolitan Hilarion exchanged views on the inter-Orthodox relations and talked about issues that concern Orthodoxy all over the world, especially the Ukrainian one.
