A festal archieratic concelebration was held, on Sunday, August 18, at the pilgrimage of Panagia Soumela on Mountain Vermio.
Metropolitan Pavlos of Drama officiated at the Matins, presided over the Divine Liturgy and preached the Divine Word, with concelebrants the Metropolitans Georgios of Kitros, Katerini and Platamon, and Panteleimon of Veroia, Naoussa and Campania.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the established memorial service and prayer were held in the tombs of the founders of the Pilgrimage, while the Metropolitan Panteleimon of Veroia handed over the golden Cross of the Silver Jubilee of Paul to Metropolitan Pavlos of Drama and to the president of the union “Panagia Soumela”, George Tanimanidis, for their contribution to the holy Pilgrimage.
