Holy Synod of Church of Greece honored its patron saint, Saint Photios the Great

The Holy Synod of the Church of Greece celebrated the memory of its patron saint, Saint Photios the Great, Patriarch of Constantinople.

The Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, February 6, at the Monastery of the Dormition of the Theotokos in Penteli. Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece will preside over the Divine Liturgy and Metropolitans Chrysostomos of Trifylia and Olympia, and Metropolitan Athanasios of Sisanion and Siatista will concelebrate.

Afterwards, the customary meeting of the Holy Synod with the professors of the Theological Schools of Athens and Thessaloniki will be held in the hall of the Inter-Orthodox Center of the Church of Greece.
