The Vesper of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross took place at the celebrating Boston School of Theology, where Archbishop Elpidophoros of America officiated for the first time.
At the end of the Vesper, the Holy Cross and cassock ceremonies were held for the students of the School with the repetition of the “Axios” for the males and “Axia” and the females.
Dozens of Greek expatriates from Boston and suburbs had flooded the temple and the outdoors while waiting patiently in line to salute and embrace the Archbishop’s hand, asking to be photographed with him.
