The President of the Hellenic Republic, Prokopis Pavlopoulos, telephoned Archbishop Anastasios of Albania, and assured him of the full support of the Greek State in his great work to deal with the hardship of the Albanian people.
“Your work is an example showing what the principles and values of humanity and solidarity mean for Greece and Orthodoxy,” Prokopis Pavlopoulos stressed, according to a relevant announcement.
