With the presence of the ecclesiastical and political leadership of the country, another special event in the history of the Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa was held on Saturday, June 8.
We are referring to priests graduating from the Patriarchal School in Nairobi. On Saturday morning a divine festal liturgy was concelebrated in the chapel of the School by Elder Makarios of Nairobi and Bishop Neophytos of Nieri and Mount Kenya.
The School has been honoured three times through Metropolitan Makarios of Nairobi for the work that is being done at the Patriarchal School and, more generally, the mission in Kenya regarding education and philanthropy.
This year’s ceremony was important since all the political leadership of the country recognized its contribution to the development and the promotion of theological Orthodox education.
