The duties of the General Archieratic Commissioner of the Metropolis of France have been assumed by the Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Throne, father Nikolaos Xenos.
Father Nikolaos Xenos comes from Zakynthos.
Since 1980 he has served as chief educational adviser in secondary education in France in the Academie de Versailles (Conseiller Principal d’Éducation).
He has been serving as a clergyman in the Metropolis of France since 1990. Since 2007, he has been serving in the Church of the Presentation of the Lord in Sartrouville.
