A fire is currently burning on Mount Athos at the site of Cape Arapis in Petrovouni.
The fire broke out in a forested area and does not threaten any monastery.
20 vehicles with 59 firefighters and 3 groups with 19 people are rushing to the spot.
There are also three aircraft and one helicopter.
