The Divine Liturgy was celebrated yesterday in the Cathedral of St. Michael of Kyiv, where, in accordance with the Old Calendar (2 August / 20 July), they commemorated the ascension of Prophet Elijah the Tishbite to the heavens.
Metropolitan Epiphaniy of Kyiv and all Ukraine presided over the Divine Liturgy, while the church was full of believers, who were wearing protective masks due to the pandemic.
