On Friday, January 17, 2020, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew held a meeting with the Ambassador of Canada to Ankara, Jamal Khokhar, at the Phanar.
During their meeting, they had the opportunity to discuss the life and ministry of the Mother Church as well as the important spiritual and social work of the Archdiocese of Canada.
The ambassador was accompanied by the Consul General of Canada to Constantinople, Brahim Achtoutal.
