Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew sent yesterday a congratulatory letter to the newly elected Metropolitan of Fthiotida, Symeon, shortly after being elected by the Holy Synod.
Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew said that he was overjoyed to know that he was deservedly elected as Metropolitan of Fthiotida.
He also wished him all the best and much success in his pastoral work.
