Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew presided over the Divine Liturgy today, on the 5th of April 2020, Fifth Sunday of Great Lent, at the Patriarchal Church of Saint George at the Phanar.
The Divine Liturgy was celebrated today behind closed doors due to the coronavirus pandemic. Only priests and some laypeople of the Patriarchal Court attended the celebration of the Divine Liturgy. Metropolitans Stefanos of Kallioupolis and Madytos, Athinagoras of Kydonia, Maximos of Silyvria and Bishop Benjamin of Traleon were also present.
