Deputy Foreign Minister Antonis Diamataris to visit Australia

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonis Diamataris, will be on a visit to Australia on December 5-13, 2019.

Antonis Diamataris will first travel to Sydney, where he will visit the St Spyridon College of the Holy Archdiocese and will meet Archbishop Makarios of Australia. The deputy minister will also meet the Executive Committee of the Greek Orthodox Community of New South Wales and the Bureau of the AHEPA New South Wales. During his stay in Sydney, Antonis Diamataris will meet with media and MPs of the Greek diaspora while delivering a speech at the Hellenic Club.

Afterwards, the deputy minister will visit Melbourne, where he will meet with members of the World Hellenic Inter-Parliamentary Association, Greek-Australian Victoria State Health Minister Jenny Mikakos and members of the Parliament of Victoria. During his stay in Melbourne, Antonis Diamataris will visit the Oakleigh Grammar of the Archdiocese of Australia, will deliver a speech to the Greek Orthodox Community of Melbourne and Victoria, and will give a press conference to Greek diaspora media.

Afterwards, Antonis Diamataris will travel to Adelaide, where he will meet the bureaus of the Greek diaspora associations and the representatives of the Greek Orthodox Community of South Australia. The deputy minister will also meet with MPs, teachers and business people of the Greek diaspora and will address the Greek Community of South Australia.

Finally, the deputy minister will travel to Perth, where he will meet business people, scientists and professors at the universities in Western Australia and will meet MPs and representatives of associations of the Greek diaspora.
