A five-member delegation of the Autocephalous Church of Ukraine will visit Mount Athos, according to Romfea.gr.
The information indicates that the delegation of the Ukrainians will be in the Garden of the Virgin Mary from the 5th to the 9th of April.
The delegation headed by Metropolitan Michael will be on Mount Athos for pilgrimage purposes.
The members of the Ukrainian delegation will also visit the Holy Community and the Protaton while they will pay pilgrimage visits to various Monasteries.
It should be reminded that the previous visit by a delegation of the Church of Ukraine to Mount Athos, headed by Metropolitan Paul of Odessa, had taken place around the mid of the previous month.
There had also been reports that some monasteries on Mount Athos had refused to accept the delegation of the Autocephalous Church of Ukraine, whereas the representatives of the Church have denied the rumors.
