Churches reopen with the participation of faithful in Metropolis of Zambia from June 6

Metropolitan John of Zambia announced on Facebook that the Divine Liturgy and other religious services would resume with the presence of the faithful at the Metropolis of Zambia from the Sunday of Pentecost, June 6.

He pointed out that the return to the churches would only happen in full compatibility with the guidelines issued by the relevant national public health authorities and served as preventive measures for the protection of public health.

As it is emphasized, “humanity cannot postpone social and religious life indefinitely. As the ancient Greek philosopher, Aristotle, highlighted, ‘human beings are by nature social beings’.”
