Church of Saint John the Baptist consecrated in the Zagradje Monastery

The restoration of the Zagradje Monastery, endowment of Stefan Vukcic Kosaca, Herzog of Saint Sava, lasted for more than twenty years.

Archbishop Amfilohije of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral, and Bishops Atanasije of Mileseva, Joanikije of Budimlje-Niksic, Teodosije of Raska-Prizren, Joakim of Polog-Kumanovo, Sergije of Bihac-Petrovac and Dimitrije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina celebrated the Holy archhierarchal Liturgy and consecrated the restored church of Saint John the Baptist of the Zagradje Monastery, on September 29th, 2019.

The newly built church of Saint George the Great Martyr, at Sumarice, a suburb of Kragujevac, was also consecrated by Bishop Jovan of Sumadija with the concelebration of a great number of priests and monks from many dioceses of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
